Kawthoolei Institute of Medical Sciences aims to address these gaps by improving health workforce quality, providing career development opportunities in the short term, and creating sustainable health workforce production. In the long term, the Institute will serve as an in-country teaching center for other EHOs, offering opportunities for ethnic youths and ensuring the sustainability of the healthcare workforce.
