Basic Laboratory Course
The training is a one-year training and is conducted in person as well as online at Taw Oo Campus. There is one lead trainer (Grade A Laboratory Technician) and guest trainers for the training.

To prepare well-educated, competent medical laboratory technicians who contribute to the provision of quality healthcare in the Kawthoolei area. Our Basic laboratory training program should be one of the leading programs in Kawthoolei areas, with recognition for compassion and clinical competence.
Mission:
To accomplish our vision, the mission of the basic laboratory training is to recruit, educate, and prepare highly competent professionals in the Kawthoolei area. Through the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and the technical skills necessary, students are able to successfully perform testing and provide quality laboratory services.
Recruitment Criteria:
● Finished grade 11 - 12
● Age between 18 – 35
● Able to read, write and speak Burmese and basic English
● CHW Certificate - Score above 80 (B+)
